I don’t work hard for my money!

July 19th, 2007

I really don’t follow the ‘old timer’ frame of mind: Work hard and by the sweat of your brow, you can make a decent living! Those times are gone for most people. I mean yeah, there are still those that work very hard for a living and that is exactly what they get……a living, not a life. Some work to make a living while others work to live their life. That is what I do. I work a few hours of the day and enjoy the rest. There are so many ways to make money without breaking a sweet or putting in overtime.

Today I put in about an hour of work and decided to head out to a small town called Greer here in Arizona. It is about 35 minutes from where I live here in Pinetop. The town is just gorgeous. They have two little stores, and ice cream shop and about a dozen bed and breakfast places there in town. It is very remote with trails to hike on, the little colorado to fish from, and places to just enjoy nature and family. But anyway, just as we pulled into town, it started pouring. So we went into the little ice cream shop and got a cone. There were a few people in there trying to stay dry. One lady finished her cone and ran out to her jeep parked just outside. She put it in gear and backed up right into a little Toyota and dented the fender pretty good. She was so flustered and nervous. Here friend that was with her said, “It’s gonna be fine Page, it’s just a Toyota Echo!”

Anyway, it was a little excitement for the day. We spent a few hours over there just enjoying the rain and the outdoors. Most Dads are stuck at work at 2pm on a Thursday afternoon. That is where they choose to be. I choose to be at home with my family during the day and this business provides me that opportunity. Life for me is joyous. I wake up excited for each new day and what it may bring. I am passionate about the industry I am involved in. Personal Development is an industry to get excited about. It helps people realize their full potential! If you are looking for a different lifestyle, more time with your family, and the income to be able to do so. Contact me and I will introduce this business to you!

It’s what you are….not what you’re not!

Thoughts are amazing aren’t they? Your mind can think of literally thousands of thoughts at any given moment. You have thoughts when you sleep. Your mind is always running, soaking things in like a sponge. While doing this, it takes in things that you want and also some things that you don’t want. Now, those thoughts are in there. It is up to you to control what you think about from that point on. They say that who you are, or in other words, your character is measured by what your everyday average thoughts and actions are. What do you think about all day long, or just occasionally? Are your thoughts productive or a waste of the effort and time it took to come up with it? The easy part about that is…..you already know the answer to that question. The hard part is…..are you willing to change it? That, my friend, is what you are.

If you continue in idle thoughts, you limit your growth. Unproductive thinking is the root of failure. Napoleon Hill titled his book “Think and grow rich.” I highly doubt he meant idle thinking. Whether or not you grow rich and successful is all dependent on your level of productive thinking. That is directly tied to your desire to think productively. If you have no desire then you will never become successful and rich. So you see it is very simple, but not easy. The secret to all wealth and success is right inside you. You must make a choice to only listen to the productive thoughts in your head, and to discard the rest. You are powerful. You have more potential than what you are performing at. You just have to learn to train your mind and think differently.

I am so inspired by movies. The drama and action wrapped up into a plot….it all just sucks me in. We just watched Harry Potter at the theatre. What a movie. I enjoyed the whole thing. For Harry, his struggle through the entire show was in his own mind. He was having trouble descerning who he really was. He had evil and distructive thoughts as well as good and uplifting ones. At the end, he had to make a choice. If he dwelled on the evil thoughts, he would have died. But an outside source helped him realize who he was. It is who you are that you must focus on, not who you are not. You get more of what you think about and focus on. So who are you? Are you someone who dwells on what could have happened or who you used to be, or, are you that person who knows who you are? Catch that vision and run with it! Your life will be full of joy and excitement!

Think outside the box!

July 11th, 2007

Thinking outside of the box is really a difficult thing to do. If you really think about it, how do you think outside of what you are used to thinking about? I mean really, most of us know that we don’t know everything. We realize all of the things that we know we don’t know. Then, there are all those things that we have no idea that we don’t know. So you see, thinking outside of the box is a little more complex. Let me help you visualize what I mean. It’s like being trapped inside a box, with the keys on the outside of the box. Now how do you get your hands on those keys. Now that makes it a little easier to understand and may give you a little food for thought.

For example, in order to become a self-made millionaire there are a few things that are absolutely vital. You must have a business opportunity, a mentor, and the ambition to achieve the status of a self-made millionaire. Without any of these three things your journey can and will be very difficult. When referring back to being trapped inside the box, your mentor is the key to the box. In order to think outside the box, you must have a mentor or someone who is what you want to become. That, my friends, is how you learn to think outside the box. Tap into the minds of those who have accomplished what you would like to. They have done it and can teach you how to do it also. One of the seven decisions for success by author Andy Andrews is to always seek wisdom. That wisdom along with knowledge will allow you the means to think outside your level of thinking, or your box.

Many a great people in history have relied on the wisdom of others to create their success. They have a board of directors that they can tap into if they lack the knowledge or experience. Use the vast amount of wisdom contained in the brains of thousands and millions of other people. That is where you will find the knowledge to be a success. In this business opportunity, I mastermind with other like-minded, self-made millionaires and have been doing so since I started this business. Why struggle so much in becoming rich and prosperous all alone, when it can be so much fun with the assistance, knowedge and experience of others? Become a student first, then become the master!

3 things to look for in a solid Business Opportunity

July 10th, 2007

There are literally thousands and thousands of ways to make a million bucks. Seriously, type in “business opportunity” in google search and you will see how many listings there are for that single keyword. A business opportunity is just as it says….it is an opportunity to do business. It is a way for you to make an income working for yourself. To own and operate your own business can and will open up a variety of possibilities to you. You will be able to enjoy the benefits of being self-employed and have the luxury of creating your own work schedule along with many other benefits. The list could go on.

It is easy to find a business opportunity. Everywhere you look there is a need. A business opportunity will arise if you can find a solution for the need or the lack of. Many a millioniare have been created by this one simple concept. Find a way to solve a significant problem in the world and you will find riches and success. Now, the real work is in finding a business opportunity that will provide you with 3 things: Income, the Time to enjoy it, Longevity. Those are the three key ingredients to any business.

So three things to look for in a solid business opportunity:

1. Income – This is simple, you want to make money in business. You are fooling yourself if you are starting a business just for fun. Take a look at the income you will generate. The biggest reason why businesses fail is due to undercapitolization. Without an income, your business will fail. You go into business to provide an income for you and your family. Make sure the compensation is worth the effort. Sales is the number one paid industry. Choose an industry that will provide huge profits.

2. Time Freedom – This is very important. As I have stated, there are a ton of business opportunities that will be successful, but there a very few that will allow you the time freedom to enjoy your income. Some go into business for the sole reason of making money. Time freedom is the last thing on their mind. What is more important to you, money or time? Time is obviously the most important thing. You can always get more money, but you can never get more time. The more you live your life, the more money you make. People will see your lifestyle and will be attracted to you and your enterprise!

3. Longevity – Choose an industry that will continue to grow and develop and is in high demand. Will the products be useful 10 years from now? Is there suffucient demand for the products and services the industry offers and can it evolve with the changing of times? Starting a business opportunity can be hard work. You will want it to be around for years to come. Get into an industry that is not stylish. Styles are in one minute and gone the next. Choose and industry with products that are constant and that retain their value for years to come. For example: Clothes are stylish while Personal Development is constant.

In your search for a business opportunity, remember, you can do anything you want to. All it takes is a decision to do so and the confidence to follow through with your decision. Successful people do the research and make decisions quickly. They very seldomly change their minds, but adjust. Procrastination is the enemy to success. It is so easy to stay with what is comfortable. The real key to success is to act. There is no such thing as doing nothing. You are moving forward or moving backwards. Your ability to decide to act depends on which way you are moving. Become an entrepreneur, it is the only way to create the lifestyle you desire!

The hardest part of being successful!

July 7th, 2007

The real work in being successful is getting there. It takes time, dedication and at times hard work. But the hardest thing about being successful, is to stay successful. Sure, I can teach you how to get there. I can show you the business opportunity that has assisted me in my climb to wealth and success, but once there, will you stay there. I can tell you this much, the work doesn’t stop just because you are successful. In fact, I think that you should turn it up a notch.

One’s journey to success should never come to a summit. It should never stop and never decrease. Success is a journey and the very moment you think you believe you are as successful as you can be, then that is the moment you start to fall. In life, there is no such thing as standing still. Everything passes you by when you are doing nothing. Either you are going forward or you are going backwards. Time is always moving. Either make it your ally or it can be your worst enemy. Do you think that at any given time if the greatest basketball player in history, Michael Jordan, stopped practicing and working on himself, would still be the best? No! He was the best because of his choice to be the best every day, every hour, and every time he practiced.

Business opportunities are the same way. You get too comfortable thinking you have life and business all figured out, watch out. You will start to slip up. Success in any business opportunity comes from being consistent with your income producing activities. Many of you might not be married if you had not been consistent with courting your future prospect. Success takes consistency and in this business, personal development is the key to staying consistent and improving yourself. As you improve yourself, your business will flourish!

Personal Development Movie: The Ghost Rider

July 5th, 2007

The Ghost Rider

I never did think that one could get so many of life’s lessons from movies and cartoons. If you pay attention, the theme of most movies is based on one theory or lesson that dictates the choices of the characters in the film. Even though you get all the Hollywood jazz and crazy plots, it is all engulfed around the moral of the story. Every action a living soul takes is based on some kind of law or principle.

The Ghost Rider

Take The Ghost Rider with Nicolas Cage as he plays Johnny Blaze who is a stunt biker performing along side his Dad. After one of their shows there was talk about how reckless Johnny was being by trying to impress the ladies. The father said something that influences Johnny’s decisions through the rest of the movie. He told Johnny that he had better make decisions that will influence his circumstances, or the circumstances will make him. Thus, from that point on, he started making decisions. Big decisions. Heck, he sold his soul to the devil. But he was creating, instead of being governed. He took control of who he was destined to be and did it well.

We all have purpose and we are all very powerful. The only thing that lacks is our knowledge of just how powerful we really are and what we feel we can accomplish. Are you the one who is going to be governed and ruled or are you someone that is the dictator of your life. How many people are an extra in their movie of life? Seriously, are you the main character in your life or are your thoughts and actions focussed towards someone elses life and in making them the movie star of your life? Remember, you create your circumstance, or it creates you!
