Have joy in your posterity!

June 9th, 2008 | No Comments |

When it comes to that time in your life and you are sitting on your death bed, what would your thoughts be? Would you be thinking, “Man, I wish I would have spent more time at the office, I sure had hoped to get the promotion, I should have done that business deal, I should have purchased that Hummer?” No! You would be crazy to think those sorts of things and if you did I would know that you had not experiences true joy in your life. The things that matter most in your life would be the main topic on your mind just before you leave this world and are the things that deserve the most attention and focus while we are still in this world. Your job, your work hours, your boss, your cars, all of these things are not what matters. Family, Posterity, and time with those you love the most and serve the most is what will always matter to you most!

Now, why, when most are alive and able to enjoy these things in their fullest do they not? Why are they are work, putting in 12 hour days for a wage when they could be spending time with their loved ones or doing things that truly create joy? Well, the answer to that is money! Some would blame money for their inability to experience joy. Money is not at all the issue….it is just your choice as to how you earn money. It’s not that your ability to make money is any different than anyone elses, it’s just the way you have chosen to make that money that is hindering your lifestyle.

If you have chosen to earn money by getting paid for your time, then there is a limit to what you can make. We all know that there are only 24 hours in a day. We all have those same 24 hours. Getting paid $10 an hour for 24 hours will only bring a profit of $240.00 a day. That is the maximum you could earn and we all know that one cannot work without sleep. At least, we shouldn’t though there are many people who do.

Now if you take those same 24 hours and leverage your time with the efforts of other people, then you have the true potential to earn a limitless amount of income. To give you an example, take a chiropractor. A chiropractor is paid for his time. He can only see so many patients a day no matter how many people are lined up outside his office. However, if he hires other chiropractors, he can, in a way, leverage his time for more profit through the efforts of others. Everybody who is anybody that has the freedom to enjoy the things that are most important and meaningful in life understands this concept. I work 4 hours a day. I do what I want when I want and still have the income to do it with. The same is opportunity is available to anyone. It’s just a choice of how you are paid!

Are leaders born with the gift of Leadership?

June 2nd, 2008 | No Comments |

Who, How, and When are leaders formed and what defines a leader and seperates them from the rest of the crowd? These are some of the questions that I am faced with as a mentor in my field. I am constantly looking for leaders. I am looking for those who are willing to and have the ability to step up and take a stand for their own life and the lives of many other ambitious entrepreneurs. In finding some of these leaders I also run into so many others who have the desire to be a leader of many, but aren’t really willing to take the opportunities that are handed to them to do so.

So the questions lies: Are leaders born with the gift of leadership? I have been to seminars and workshop that were designed to attempt on creating leaders out of the people who attend. Can you create a leader, on your time, as a mentor? Can you teach leadership to someone who has a burning desire? Is there a course that can instruct leadership and speed up the process? I mean, we have all seen it. In a group of children, it is very clear which ones have the natural ability to lead. Is it the same for adults?

I think that many people are born with the natural ability to lead, and we are all given different talents that can be nurtured and exercised in order to reach their potential. But even if we are born with the natural ability to lead, there are still choices to be made in order to nuture and harness that ability. Just because someone is incredibly athletic doesn’t mean that they choose to be the next Michael Jordan of our time. People CHOOSE to be leaders. It is something that is learned, and not taught. One has to want to lead, in order to be a leader. We are not born with the ability to lead…..we are given the opportunities to lead. We are not born courageous, we are given opportunities to be courageous.

It is by acting on those opportunities we are faced with everyday, opportunities to demonstrate our leadership, is what makes us a leader. I once heard that you do not fail all at once. It is not one sudden moment where everything comes crashing down. It is one small moment after another over a longer period of time that causes our ultimate failure. The same goes with leadership. It is one small, or large act of leadership at a time over a long period of time that turns followers into leaders.

Rules of Corporate Welfare: Donald Trump

May 29th, 2008 | No Comments |

1. Adopt a big attitude
“Everything you do in life, do with attitude,” Donald says. “I always think of myself as the best-looking guy and it’s no secret I love beautiful women. That is why I bought the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants.

“In primitive times, women clung to the strongest male for protection. High-status males displayed their prowess through their kick ass attitude. Believe in yourself and show it in your
attitude. Use your big thinking attitude for everything you do in life.”

2. You are what you think you are
“Most people think too little of themselves and devalue their own abilities. They give other people credit for being smarter than they are and downplay their own intelligence. Reverse this: give yourself credit for being smarter than most people, because it’s true.

“People take their cues from you as to how they should think about you. Develop an attitude that you are worth a lot, then others will value you. Walk briskly and purposefully, eyes looking straight ahead like someone who knows where he or she is going.”

3. Go first class
“Let your shoes, suits, shirts, ties, coats and accessories tell the world that you understand and value quality. If you do not have a big budget, buy fewer items, but better quality. Let everything you do and own convey an image of importance.”

4. Ditch your doubts
“Big thinkers conquer their doubts. When in doubt, believe in yourself and assume you’ll succeed. Nobody can do this for you. Do not grab for someone else’s reassurance when you
are feeling inadequate. Develop your own selfbelief. If you believe you can do something, other people will believe it too.

“Give off the attitude that you’re important and worth listening to. People will see by your face and by your bearing that you are self powered, a leader who makes things happen.”

5. Speak your mind
“Speak like a big thinker. Get in the habit of speaking out in business meetings and social gatherings. Make sure you know what you want to say, then speak with the attitude that you have something important to say. Do not be afraid of what other people think.”

6. High flyers flock together
“Hang out with other big thinkers. People in your environment have a great impact on you. Join clubs, associations and organizations where the successful congregate. Think of yourself as someone important to know. The most important person in any gathering is
the one who is most active in introducing him or herself. When meeting a new person look them in the eye and be sure to get their name and give them yours. Drop all your friends who are negative and think small. Seek advice from people who know what they’re doing.”

7. Get tough
“People are not going to just hand you money. People fight and kill for money. You have to use leverage to extract top dollar. Threaten to inflict some pain before you get some pain. In every successful real estate deal, I’ve had to make my opponent feel the pain of what he would lose if he did not do the deal with me, and the pleasure of going forward
and giving me what I want.

“Look at job negotiations. Most people get their biggest raises when they change jobs, or threaten to change jobs. When negotiating for money, build up the value of your presence to the company and increase the loss the company will suffer in losing you. Always be ready to walk.”

8. Be prepared for setbacks
“A failure is not a defeat. Learn from your mistakes and view your setbacks as the cost of getting an education. Engage in constructive self-criticism. Learn your lessons quickly, then move on. Remember, persistence plus learning from mistakes equals success.”

Australia is on Fire!

May 23rd, 2008 | No Comments |

For all the network marketers out there that believe that you need a hundred or more leads to make a few sales, get this. I spoke to three people from Australia, since this is an international opportunity, and two of them signed up and purchased a product. My time invested thus far has been less than an hour. My profit = $2000.00. How is that for conversion? Honestly, I don’t know any other opportunity in the world that enables you to generate $2000.00 and hour. Do you?

When I hear the word SIMPLE, I think of this business opportunity. I played a very small part in this income. I really don’t have to do a lot. Now, of course I do the marketing, but the marketing system made me the money and will make those two individuals from Australia the money as well. All I do is follow the system, follow it to a “T”, and then collect the checks.

If you are still working a job for an hourly wage or a salary, you are wasting your potential! I will tell you that straight up, you are wasting your potential if you work for someone else. The only way to make a fortune is by working for yourself! The possibilities are limitless. Especially with a business that has a system!

One ad, two phone calls, my profit = $1049.18. How did I do that?

May 20th, 2008 | No Comments |

So how did I make a $1049.18 profit with placing just one ad and making two phone calls? Well, I can tell you this much, I didn’t do it as an employee. It took me less than an hour to place the ad and make the two calls, so I guess you could say I make $1000 and hour or better. Sure beats working for an hourly wage.

This is how I did it: I simply got started in a business that has three key ingredients to ensure success. They are: An easy to follow Marketing System, A Powerful Product Line, A lucrative Compensation Plan second to none! Plain and simple! The only missing piece in these three ingredients, is the person that profits from using this simple business model. It’s not rocket science. All I have to do is follow this simple system by bringing my goals and ambitions to inprove my lifestyle, and it works!

Poor, Broke and Underpaid!

May 16th, 2008 | No Comments |

All I have to say is that no matter your circumstance, your income, or your current situation, THAT IS NOT YOU! I speak to so many people who are down, mentally and emotionally due to their financial situation. They think that is who they are. They are so far from the truth. Just because you are hatched from an egg does not necessarily mean you will be a bird. Your environment does not govern who you are and what you are capable of.

Many people have the difficulty of changing their circumstance. How do we do that. How does someone go from being behind 3 months on their bills to making more than enough to cover their bills, travel the world, and have the lifestyle of their dreams? I can tell you exactly the thing that can create that….Personal Development. It is all done upstairs, just a few inches from the neck. One must just simply think a little differently to experience a huge shift in results. One degree of temperature brings a 211 degree pan of water to a boil. It makes all the difference.

So just remember this…you create who you are. If you are going to let a low income and some debt stop you from becoming who you deserve and know you should be, you know where that leads, right? Enjoy it as much as you can. Otherwise, make a bold decision to move forward, and experience what life should be and is truly all about!
