3 Personal Finance Strategies for Entrepreneurs and Investors

August 8th, 2012

Piggy BankMastering personal financial management is essential no matter what level you’re at financially. When you’re an entrepreneur or an investor, you may have the basics figured out, but there are plenty of strategies that you can use to take your finances to the next level. Here are three personal finance strategies that you may want to try out as an entrepreneur or an investor:

1. Set a Net Worth

When you’re starting out on your financial journey, setting a savings goal may seem like the way to go. As you get further along financially, you should consider switching over to a net worth goal. If you have a specific net worth in mind, this will help you work toward your goal in all areas of your finances. Your net worth can be increased by paying off debt, increasing your income, and the increase in value of your assets.

Run a Home Based Business? Get a Smart Phone.

May 31st, 2012

Droid X2 Smart PhoneToday, we have so much technology that can help our businesses grow. Whether you’re a home based business owner or run a more traditional business, you deserve to have a smart phone. Doing business without one will only cost you more time. Which, in an entrepreneurs world, that means money or time away from your family.

Now this post may sound extremely out dated to those of us who already use a smart phone, and that’s okay. This post is targeting those entrepreneurs who are still stuck in the dinosaur days. Admit it. How many people over the age of fifty actually use a smart phone? And how many of those people own businesses or could benefit from the technology smart phones have to offer? Off the top of my head, I can personally think of at least twenty people, and you probably can as well.

Network Marketing – Most People Quit Before They Start

April 30th, 2012

Stuck at the Starting LineIn my experience in the network marketing industry, the number one cause of failure in marketers is because they quit. Quitting is really the only way to fail in network marketing. But the most ridiculous part about it all, is that most marketers quit before they even start! It’s true.

Let me give you an example…

I recently had someone sign up for my home business. She was as excited as anyone could possibly be and expressed to me that this business was exactly what she was looking for. She explained how tired she was of her current situation and got started with me that same day. Now, in my business, once someone gets started, they have access to an entire back office full of training that will help jump start their business. Well, this woman completed everything. She even purchased some leads. I thought she was well on track to making some money.

But let me ask you a question…..does signing up and completing training or even purchasing some leads really mean that someone truly gets started?

Monetize Your Blog through Social Spark

April 13th, 2012

For nearly the past decade I have been blogging right here on CreateFinancialWealth.com. I like to touch on specific topics related to Entrepreneurship, Network Marketing and Internet Marketing. Most of what I write about is designed to help people like you create a success, or a higher level of success in your business. As every blogger should, I write about what’s on my mind and hope that it is of value to you.

social sparkThere are two types of bloggers:

  1. Those who blog for free…
  2. and those who blog for profit.

But what most bloggers who blog for free don’t realize, is that they’re doing almost the same thing the blog for profit bloggers are doing. They’re just not getting paid for it. Now their reason for that is their own. As for me, I offer a free blog so that I can profit, right along side you.

Marketing Guide: How to Promote Your Business on Pinterest

March 5th, 2012

Pinterest Marketing GuideCurrently, Pinterest is the fastest growing social bookmarking site on the web today. My wife joined Pinterest not long ago because of how quickly she could share and discover her creative decorating and craft ideas. In fact, I think it was a bit too easy because it nearly consumed every second of her day for about two weeks, no exaggeration. She loved it.

In the beginning days of Pinterest, women were and still are the primary users, discovering and sharing their favorite crafts, clothes and styles. Imagine if your business was offering a product or service to the “stay at home Mom” or “work at home Mom” crowd. Pinterest would be and is a gold mine, and for more than just stay at home Mom’s. It’s a great marketing avenue for many types of business, internet based and ‘brick and mortar’ alike.
