Topus Uranus by Plato, The Greek Philosopher

February 8th, 2012

Plato - Topus UranusFor you scholars out there: Have you ever heard of a term called “Topus Uranus?” It’s a term used by the Greek philosopher Plato and refers to his world of ideas where, according to him, reality is found. He argued that reality isn’t contained in the physical, material world, but outside of it, in the world of ideas. The material world is really only a reflection of what is in the world of ideas.

Personal Development Today

As the personal development industry has evolved, especially within the past decade, terms such as the “law of attraction” and “the secret” have surfaced. These terms have spread like wild fire inside and outside the home based business industry. People were given the idea that they could attract absolutely anything they desired into their life through their focused thoughts. Basically, if a person could hold a concentrated thought for long enough that the “universe” would present this desire in physical form. Now… hold that thought for a moment while I go on.

Negative Ghost Rider, The Pattern is Full!

January 31st, 2012

Top GunIt’s been a while now since I got started in the Network Marketing Industry and it’s been one of the best learning experiences of my life. Many moons ago, my wife and I attended a phone presentation that forever changed the way we viewed our financial potential. When times were dim and stressful with a solution no where near, it’s like the blind folds were finally removed and our eyes were opened for the first time.

I’ll never forget when we experienced our first thousand dollar day. Everything we had hoped for was gaining momentum. From that time onward, we became leaders in the direct sales industry. We had gone farther and earned more in a home based business than anybody we had ever personally known.

I Just Got Fired!

November 7th, 2011

If you have ever been fired from a job, join the club. Change is a good thing, most of the time. There are very few who haven’t been let go, down sized, replaced or fired at least once in their lifetime. Their reason was, “I didn’t have what it takes to work with food.” That was okay with me and they were probably right. I hated cleaning up after people I didn’t know anyway, especially after a meal. 10 Things To Do Now, Not Later!

October 18th, 2011

When you start adding on the years, you start to realize that life is EXTREMELY short! Sometimes I don’t feel there is enough time to accomplish all that I have planned to. I think the spark to this though process of mine was a conversation I overheard. They were talking about buying a home so that they could change it however they wanted to, instead of having to tip-toe around their landlord. Yet, they’re still hesitant. A Guide to Getting Paid What You’re Worth

September 13th, 2011

We’ve all heard the common phrase, “You teach people how to treat you.” If you allow someone to treat you like a piece of trash,  and you don’t correct them, then you have just given them a lesson on how you should be treated. It’s common sense really, but more than just a few won’t ever grasp that concept. Read the rest of this entry »

Add Popups or Don’t Add Popups

August 31st, 2011

In the world of network marketing, lead generation is the life blood of your business. Without leads, your business is dead in the water. It’s call lead poverty.

So naturally, home based business owners will try almost everything under the sun to generate quality leads. One method commonly used is a popup contact form on their website or blog. We’ve all heard both positive and negative feedback about popups. We’ve been to the sites which have so many popups that you can’t even access the content you’re looking for and are forced to leave the site. And by leaving the site, you get another popup saying, “Wait! Don’t leave. Blah, Blah, Blah.” It can be extremely annoying. Read the rest of this entry »
