The Lifestyle!

January 22nd, 2007

As I mentioned in an earlier blog, I would like to share with you a little of my lifestyle to give you a taste of what my life is like. Today is Monday. What are most guys my age doing on Monday. Well, most go to work. They wake up before the sun officially rises, kiss their wife and kids good-bye for the day and leave to work for the next 8, 10, 12 hours. Some go to jobs and others go to a business, or in other words, a job they created for themselves. I wish them well in all they do. That may be their comfort zone.

Now, my day! I woke up at around 8:00 this morning to about 2 feet of snow outside. While everyone else was having to shovel their cars out of the snow just to get to work to be able to pay the bills, I enjoyed a hot cup of hot chocolate as I made some pancakes for my kids that just barely woke up. We sat down together, as we do almost every morning, and had breakfast together.

After breakfast I decided to go over to my new “home in progress” to see if the drywall company had shown up for the day. They didn’t show due to the snow storm but I decided to take a picture of my future home for this blog. It is a two story mountain home. It will appraise for close to a million. This is my second home. The one we live in now is half the size. The finish date is projected to be mid to end February. I am getting excited. This home is the bomb! Here it is…..

Not bad for a second home huh? We are going to put decorative rock up the part that has no siding on it yet. The garage door will be wood and the yard will be finished off with a stamped driveway, grass and a split rail fence.

After taking this picture I decided that I would do some work and made more today than I did in a whole month working in my highest paying job. I worked about 3 hours this morning. We went up-town and got some Chinese for lunch, did some shopping, and came home. I then worked another hour. We took off to the show, came home and put our kids to bed and here I am. What a life. I practically spend the entire day with those whom I love the most in this world. My family! In March I have a trip to Cancun planned and in June, a trip to Australia. I swear, sometimes I have to pinch myself! I am living my dream lifestyle…..and you can too. If you so choose to do so.

Why would anyone choose to have a JOB?

October 18th, 2006

Let me give you a few examples of a life of having a job and a day of a life in this business. First example: my brothers life. And I sure hope that he is okay with me using him as an example. He has told me that he is fet up with where he is at and what he is going through and wants to change. And I believe he will.

Anyway, he works at a corporate job and makes about 50-60k a year and commutes and hour or so everyday to work and an hour back. Living in another town about 3 hrs away are his wife and 3 kids. She took a job there to help with their financial situation. They are hardly together. They are making enough money to have a little extra here and there but are having to sacrifice their time and freedom for it.

Second example: I spoke with a gentleman just the other day that has two very successful businesses and makes just under 200k a year but works 16 hrs a day and is constantly on the road. He has a family as well that he never sees.

Example three: This example is basically a generalization. Every morning I look out my window and see all the people driving to work at the crack of dawn. They are giving 8 or more hrs a day to their employers who probably pay them just enough to pay their bills. That’s how it works and how they can depend on you being there over and over again. They pay you just enough to get by so that you can’t afford to leave. Probably about 90% of America is stuck.

Why would you choose that life. I work a total of 4 hrs at the most a day. I make a few phone calls, place a few ads, and collect the checks FEDEX’ed to my front door. I have been to Cancun, Hawaii, Disney Land and Disney World already this year and will be going to Cancun in the spring and Australia in June. I spend every day doing as I please and am creating a lifestyle that most people dream. Now, I don’t say all this to brag. I say it in a hope that I can wake up a few people from the sleep they are in.

I am a mentor and a business coach and teach people how to establish a successful home business. This is a very unique opportunity that can give you both time and money and allow you to get out of the rat race and live a life of magnificence.

ALOHA

October 10th, 2006

Aloha from Hawaii*Aloha*

Talk about Amazing.  Another first for me.  I’ve always wanted to visit Hawaii since I was a young girl.  Believe it or not, it was on my “TO DO” list.  I love authentic Hawaiian music, the ocean, warm tropical breezes, mid-night walks on the beach, relaxed atmospheres, and of course, friendly people.  Hawaii has all of these characteristics and more.

I really love living this life.  We have tons of fun, travel to exotic islands, make money, in turn–spend money, and we have the privilege of assisting others in doing the same.  Not only that, we get to hang out with other BIG money makers, converse with individuals who share common goals and aspirations.  Individuals who are like-minded.

One of my life goals was to always stay active and continue taking risks.  Why?  It allows me to feel free,  invigorated, excited, thrilled, adventurous, and ALIVE!  Truly Alive.  Some of the activities we participated in were para-sailing, kayaking, snorkeling, cliff jumping, swimming, hiking, boating, site seeing, authentic cuisine(an adventure all its own), sun rises, sun sets, dolphins, shopping, mingling, dancing, singing, pondering, and of course, my favorite, sleeping on Heavenly Beds.  What a trip, and the beauty of the whole thing was I enjoyed this trip with the love of my life.  Completely open to new experiences and opportunities, vulnerable really.  As if our two spirits connecting with one another all over again for the first time.

WOW, how much do I love my husband.  We’ve been together for 8 years, and it may not seem long to others, for some it’s forever or even too long.  However for me, I feel like the movie “50 first Dates” with Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler; also shot on the Big Island and a favorite of mine, I feel like we fall in love with each other over and over again with each new day, and with each new sun rise.  I can’t explain the love I have in my heart for him.  Especially after starting Summit Point Enterprises, I have a seen a new man.  A man full of love, gratitude, appreciation, anticipation, compassion, ambition, integrity, and self-worth.  I was so in love when we met, then I truly loved him when we were married, and now I am enamored by him.

There is a song by Kenny Logins called, “For the First Time.”  This song is definitely a favorite of mine as well.  In it are the words, “For the first time….I am looking in your eyes, for the first time, I am seeing who you are. I can’t believe how much I see when your looking back at me, Now I understand why love is for the first time.”  He is my love, my life, my soul, my mate, my friend and so much more.  I really do love him with all my heart.  Every time we experience a vacation together, I feel that we get to connect at this level all over again.

What a life of magnificence do we choose to live!  We jump from planes together, we kayak together (not always in perfect harmony) but together, jump from cliffs together, snorkel holding hands, lay in a hammock at Buddah Point together while we cuddle and listen to the waves crash, we journal together while watching the sun rise.  I truly couldn’t be happier with what we have together, and that is truly the key….we choose to be together, to experience life together, to be in love together, and to just BE together.  And we are.

How many happy couples choose this for themselves?  How many couples could choose this for themselves?  So here I am with so much to talk about and share, but I go to this.  Being “In Love” and able to experience that daily with the one I love.  So for tonight, I will leave it at this. I’m in love with my husband, my little family, and my life.  It’s ALL good!!  Real Good!

The Big Island, Hawaii

October 4th, 2006

Here we are on the beautiful Big Island of Hawaii. We arrived on Sunday and are staying here at the Waikoloa Hilton Resort overlooking the ocean. What a beautiful and inspiring place this is. It is our first time to the Hawaiian Islands and I am impressed.

We flew in on Sunday and checked into our room here in the Palace towers. The resort is full of things and activities for both couples and families. There are paddle boats, kayaking, snorkeling, and you can even feed and swim with the dolphins. There are huge pools, spa’s, hammocks, dining and entertainment for all kinds of different people.

Monday we decided to have a full day of fun. We went kayaking into ocean caves, cliff jumping, snorkeling, and last but not in anyway least, para-sailing. Amy and I absolutely loved every minute of it even though we both got a little queezy on the boat as we were going out to sea. Being from Arizona, we just aren’t used to the wavey ride.

I absolutely love my life. I have a beautiful family, I answer to nobody but myself……and Amy occasionally, and make a ton of money. I can live and do what ever I want with this business. This is our 4th or 5th long vacation this year. I swear, everyday feels like a weekend now. I wouldn’t trade this for the world.

Cancun, Mexico

August 25th, 2006

In March we attended an event in Cancun Mexico. We arrived on a Monday afternoon, checked into the Moon Palace resort, found our room and took a tour of the grounds. This resort is fantastic. It is an all inclusive resort located right on the beach in Cancun. The service was so excellent, we actually set a goal to see if it were possible to walk by an employee without them saying, “hola.” We failed to achieve our goal.

The event itself was nothing short of inspiring. We heard from Dick Hoyt, who shows his love and compassion for his son while demonstrating his tremendous desire to go the extra mile. His son, Rick, had been tangled with the umbilical cord, at birth, which confined him to a wheel chair for the rest of his life. To make a long story short, Rick was given the opportunity to speak through a computer and told his parents that when he is running, it feels like he isn’t handicapped. Since then, they have been in many marathons and triathlons across the nation and have overcome tremendous obstacles along the way. Truly inspiring. The crowd cheered through tears of inspiration for Team Hoyt.
We also heard from Patrick Combs and Deanna Latson. David Neagle had a near death experience of being sucked through a dam. After that experience he devoted his life to helping others realize their true potential with the simple concept, JUST BELIEVE. Patrick Combs was told over and over again that he would never achieve his goals and that he should give up. For more than a decade he has dedicated his career to helping people live with more courage, passion, inspiration and meaning. Deanna touched on some permanent lifestyle changes that will improve health and wellbeing. Her inspiration was to save her Dad’s life, and in turn has helped so many more.

In addition to hearing from these inspiring speakers, we had some play time. We rented a wave runner and hit the waves in the ocean. Talk about being sore afterwards. Also we rented some little two seat-er speed boats , cruised through water channels and snorkeled in the reef. How often do most people get to do that or even have the time, freedom, and money to vacation in exotic locations like this? We plan on doing it again this coming October in Hawaii during our next event. And since this blog is fairly new I will update you on the last Liberty Conference in Puerto Rico.

At the end of every event is a black tie event. This event closes things out with a wild night of fun and entertainment. This is truly an amazing community of individuals we are part of. A room full with thousands of entrepreneurs who are living the lives of their dreams and it all comes down to a choice they made to get started. Already this year I have taken more vacations then I was ever able to take before I made this incredible life-changing choice.
